This fully refurbished Country House Hotel is looking for a Skilled and Passionate Assistant Restaurant Manager to join their team to help run their fine dining restaurant.
The Position
As Assistant Restaurant Manager your involvement will be crucial to the continued success of this thriving and growing business and so as Assistant Restaurant Manager you would be expected to have the following skills, experience and attributes:
• Outstanding friendly personality with definite ‘can do’ attitude, excellent attention to detail, real passion for food and drink, with ability to bring added value to whatever you do.
• To manage the service of Food and Beverage to all guests, both resident and non-residents.
• Have good and relevant knowledge of good food and wine with an educated palate and be able to instil this knowledge to your team.
• Ensuring the smooth flow of the restaurant and have the ability to ‘host’ the restaurant on occasion for private parties and small wedding parties.
• Demonstrate fantastic people skills by having the experience and strength of character to supervise small team of 8 working alongside the Restaurant Manager and overseeing, Sommelier, Head Waiters, Chef de Rangs and Commis.
• To be actively involved in the training of Chef de Rangs and Commis de Rangs and create training exercises for your team.
• Ensure all Chef de Rang and Commis de Rang are familiar, fully briefed and understand the menus being offered to guests
• Manage you team to ensure all daily tasks are prepared, laid ready to ensure a smooth professional service.
• You will be able to communicate very well and strike up a good working relationship with your new colleagues inspiring others to develop and succeed.

This large group owned Country Hotel and Golf Club with superb leisure facilities and successful wedding and corporate trade is looking for somebody to head up their busy brasserie and fine dining operation. A talented Sous Chef is required to enhance the current operation by a few careful ‘tweaks here and there, to push up the standards’
The Position
As Sous Chef your involvement and input is crucial to the continued success of this thriving and growing business so duties, skills and attributes will include
• Outstanding friendly personality with definite ‘can do’ attitude, excellent attention to detail, real passion for food and drink, with ability to bring added value to whatever you do.
• Have previous experience as a Sous Chef and have previous experience of a busy 1 Rosettes Hotel, Restaurant, Gastro pub or Brasserie
• Develop, Create and implement fresh ideas that enhance the ‘offering’ of the hotel using fresh ingredients including many especially sourced local seasonal ingredients
• As Sous Chef You will be able to communicate very well and strike up a good working relationship with your new colleagues including Owner/Directors, General Manager, Head Chef and other HOD’s whilst building your own team of 6, inspiring others to develop and succeed.
• Part of your duties will include taking financial control of the kitchen so full knowledge of stock control, purchasing and menu planning skills are imperative.
• Ensuring that all HACCAP, CoSHH reports are maintained and monitored alongside general kitchen management including wastage controls etc.
• Temporary live in maybe available for the first month
• Excellent basic salary of £25,000 with possible future reviews depending upon performance.

The Position
As Reservations Sales Co-ordinator your involvement will be crucial to the hotel so you would be expected to have the following skills, experience and attributes:
• The ideal Reservations Sales Co-ordinator will ideally have previous 3,4 or 5 star hotel experience
